A bit before hand, a serious new update for Final Fantasy XV has arrived. As spotted by people on Reddit and NeoGAF, update 1.06 (as well as the minor 1.07) are out now, coming in at around 5.6 GB.

According to patch notes posted by Gematsu, the large addition inside the new update are changes on the  FFXIV Gil much-discussed Chapter 13. As announced previously by game director Hajime Tabata, this mission is evolving to address the gameplay experience contained inside chapter.
"The direction of chapter 13's content would have been a deliberate decision created by the team of developers," Tabata said back February. "That said, the number of stress inflicted about the player while running through this chapter was more than we had anticipated. We believe resolving this matter will naturally cause a better gameplay experience.

Final Fantasy XV launched in November 2016 for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One in November, starting with ship a lot more than 6 million copies.
